How you can support Warrnambool & District Community Hospice

Despite the impact of Hospice and the critical need for its services in the community, Warrnambool and District Community Hospice faces as uncertain future without your support.

As a community-based volunteer organisation, Hospice has no regular source of income or ongoing government funding. The organisation relies on the support and generosity of those who believe that when it comes to dying “there’s no place like home”.

In order to maintain the current level of service in South West Victoria, Hospice must meet all of its operational expenses through donations, bequests, sponsorships and grants.

There are several ways you can safeguard the future of hospice and ensure residents of South West Victoria continue to benefit from this free community service.

Make a Donation

Hospice welcomes donations large and small.
Donations can be made in person, over the phone or online.

Pledge Your Support

You may wish to pledge your support, either as an ongoing monthly donation or a large gift spread over multiple years.

Leave a Bequest

A gift in your will is wonderful way to create a lasting legacy while acknowledging the support you & your family have received from Hospice.

Sponsorship and In-kind giving

Sponsorship from businesses and community in-kind giving contributes to the success of events, builds community and supports our fundraising campaigns.

Support through a Business or Community Group

Partnerships with business and community groups are an excellent way for Hospice to raise awareness as well as funds.

Host a Fundraiser

You may wish to host your own function, undertake a personal challenge or request donations in lieu of gifts or flowers to raise money for Hospice.

To discuss your potential support, please contact Hospice House.

“Thanks to the generosity of our supporters and volunteers there are fewer unnecessary admissions to hospitals and nursing homes in this community, than anywhere else in the state. More terminally ill people are getting the chance to live the remainder of their lives to the full and their family and friends are being supported through an unimaginably difficult time.”

- Dr Eric Fairbank, Hospice Founder
